And now that it's over I can feel free
To say all the things that you have done to me
Because I have a boy who loves to sing me songs
With tender heart I know that I've been all along
White flowers wilt when I would see his face
Abandoned dreams of love to find their place
With every bruise endured I would think of you
And I know I can't break down
I can't break down
To build, to build, to build
To build this Golden House
I pray, I pray, I pray to Heaven
Come back, to me, my tears are hidden
To build, to build
To build this Golden House

Shoegaze ist die Kunst des Dröhnens, doch „Everything Is Alive“ setzt diese Elemente nur sparsam ein. Statt Hall- und Zerr-Sounds aufzutürmen, schäumt die Musik in feinen Bläschen über.

Bright, gorgeous, bashing songs from these Belgian shoegazers that never lose track of melody amidst the waves of distortion. Bandcamp New & Notable Sep 23, 2023
Subsonic Eye combines math rock, dream pop, and guitar sounds borrowed from post-rock for songs that whirl and flurry, but never quite settle. Bandcamp Album of the Day Sep 15, 2023
Indianna Hale's cosmic Americana is equal parts spooky and inviting, the warm sonic palette a cushion for her eerie songs. Bandcamp New & Notable Aug 17, 2023

great album. little bit different then the rest of the beach house albums. "heavier" I guess you could say, but the direction they took with it is always fun to listen too. it sure has that beach house consistentcy that they always have. chrissn1
